SciTE is one of the best programming editors for single files (means that SciTE is not an IDE). For more information, please refer to the project home page: http://scintilla.org/SciTE.html
My own SciTE distribution
I have created my own SciTE distribution, which includes some useful options that are either turned off or not included into the official distribution. You can download it directly from my site: SciTE_171_byYuriyS.zip. To install, just unpack the files to the target folder.
Changes against previous distribution version:
- SciTE executables updated to version 1.71
- Added bindings for Nemerle language
- Some of colors and styles (e.g. folding) have been tweaked a bit
